With significant experience in commercial, industrial, residential, remote and pre-fabricated construction behind them, the RBS team came together in late 2017 and discussed:

·        Could a construction business challenge the norm to provide better outcomes for clients and their stakeholders?

·        Could the overheads and bureaucracy of project delivery be shrunk to a minimum with maximum quality outputs? Could this mean that quality projects could be delivered with well managed budgets, on time or even early?

·        Could social and environmental responsibility be truly integrated into the construction process, rather than just given lip service?

·        Could we include the local community we are working in, into the process?

·        Can we develop a project delivery model that is truly transparent and collaborative? 

·        Could a specific path be derived for a project, rather than a one solution fits all approach?

·        Could we do what we say we are going to do?

The answer was yes to all of them.

We are a different version of construction management and project delivery, transparent and honest; nothing to push other than good outcomes for our clients and our reputation.

The team come from trade backgrounds in carpentry and have experience across design management, feasibility studies, cost, site, project and compliance management.

James Simpson, 'The Glue' is the principal of RBS GROUP LTD.  Over his 20 something year career he has amassed vast experience in commercial and residential builds.  His passion for completing projects on time, within budget  with quality risks managed enables his team to achieve the best outcomes.

He is an industrious, accomplished construction professional, particularly skilled in challenging projects, modern construction techniques, system implementation and relationship management. He has a strong interest in design and build, negotiated and repeat business projects.
