In 2024, RBS Group transformed Room 17 at Taupō Intermediate School into a modern, functional Learning Support Coordinator (LSC) space. Drawing on our extensive experience working within live school environments, we delivered the project while the school remained fully operational — requiring careful planning, robust health and safety management, and flexible scheduling to minimise disruption for students and staff.

The refurbishment involved the full removal of outdated built‑ins, damaged linings, ceilings, and redundant services. Our team rebuilt the space with new framing, fresh linings, updated lighting, new fittings and fixtures, and a complete repaint. The room was finished with new Autex and carpeting, creating a warm, acoustically balanced, and supportive environment for learning.

Throughout the project, we worked closely with school leadership and key stakeholders to ensure the works aligned with daily routines and evolving needs. We coordinated multiple specialist subcontractors and managed all aspects of delivery within a tight timeframe, ensuring a high‑quality outcome.
